Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the cowl panel.
    Refer to: Cowl Panel (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the windshield wiper motor and bracket assembly..
    1. Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
    1. Remove the bolts.
      Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the retainers.
  1. NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.

    Remove the wiper motor.
    1. Remove the wiper motor bolt.
      Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
    1. Remove the screws and the wiper motor.
      Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
