Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the roof opening panel glass.
    Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Glass (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, Removal and Installation).

  1. NOTICE: Pull up on the center of the shade only enough to disengage the foot from the track.

    NOTE: The sub steps should be performed together as a single step.


    Disengage the LH front corner of the roof opening panel shield from the guide track.
    1. Pull up on the center of the roof opening panel shield for clearance.
    1. Pull the LH front roof opening panel shield guide out and up from the guide rail to disengage the roof opening panel shield from the track.

  1. NOTE: The sub steps should be performed together as a single step.


    Remove the roof opening panel shield.
    1. Pull up at the LH side of the roof opening panel shield.
    1. Carefully rotate the roof opening panel shield in a counterclockwise manner to disengage the remaining guide feet and remove the roof opening panel shield.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
