Ford Fiesta: Electronic Engine Controls - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma / Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Release the fuel system pressure.
Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release (310-00B Fuel System - General
Information - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, General Procedures).

Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

Remove engine appearance cover.

Disconnect the FRP sensor electrical connector.

Remove the FRP sensor.
Installation

Install and tighten the FRP sensor.
Torque:
24 lb.ft (32.5 Nm)

Connect the FRP sensor electrical connector.

Install engine appearance cover.

Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
Removal
Top of travel switch
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove CPP switch from the bracket.
Bottom of travel switch
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove CPP switch from the bracket...

Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainers and the IAT sensor...

Pressure release
NOTE:
The fuel pump relay fuse is located in the BJB , location F11.
Remove the fuel pump relay fuse.
NOTE:
It may take up to several minutes before the engine stalls.
Start the engine and allow it to idle until the engine stalls...

Master Cylinder
NOTE:
When a new brake master cylinder has been installed, it
should be primed to prevent air from entering the system.
NOTE:
Make sure the area around the master cylinder cap is clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.
