Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
    Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
  1. NOTE: If equipped.

    Remove the screw and the pin-type retainer.
  1. NOTE: If equipped.

    Remove the screws and the front stone deflector extension.
  1. Remove the fender splash shield.
    Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  1. NOTE: On each side.

    Remove the front bumper cover bracket bolts.
    Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
  1. NOTE: If equipped.

    NOTE: On each side.

    Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.
  1. Remove the lower front bumper cover to the body screws.
  1. Remove the scrivets and the front bumper cover.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
