Ford Fiesta: Evaporative Emissions - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma / Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the battery.
   Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
   

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
   Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Disconnect the quick release coupling.
   Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00B Fuel System - General Information - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, General Procedures).
   

1. Disconnect the quick release coupling.
   Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00B Fuel System - General Information - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, General Procedures).
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the EVAP canister purge valve.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
