Remove air cleaner outlet pipe.
Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and
Filtering - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, Removal and
Installation).

NOTE:
Have the new component ready to install to reduce coolant loss.
NOTE:
Be prepared for escaping fluid.

Disconnect the ECT electrical connector.
-
Release the retaining clip.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
-
Check the coolant level in the degas bottle and add coolant as necessary.

Activation
NOTE:
Compressor with a spring rubber clutch shown others similar.
Check the A/C clutch air gap at 3 equally spaced places between the
clutch plate and the A/C clutch pulley. Refer to Specifications in Group
412.
