Ford Fiesta: Battery, Mounting and Cables / Battery Monitoring Sensor. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1.   WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Follow the health and safety precautions.
    Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the battery monitoring sensor electrical connector.
      Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
    1. Remove the bolt and the battery monitoring sensor.
      Torque: 115 lb.in (13 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. If equipped with power windows, perform the window motor initialization.
