Ford Fiesta: Drum Brake / Wheel Cylinder. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may include installation details.

1. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
   

1. Remove the brake drum.
   Refer to: Brake Drum (206-02 Drum Brake, Removal and Installation).
   

1. NOTICE: If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.

   • Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
     Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
   • Remove the wheel cylinder bolt and wheel cylinder.
     Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Bleed the Brake System.
