Ford Fiesta: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) - Vehicles With: Keyless Entry and Push Button Start / Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the steering column shrouds.
    Refer to: Steering Column Shrouds (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector, release the tabs and remove the PATS transceiver.

Installation

  1. Visually inspect to verify the ring is installed on the PATS transceiver.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
