Deactivation

  1. Place the ignition in the OFF position.
  1. Verify the battery is fully charged.
    Refer to: Battery (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Diagnosis and Testing).
  1. Place the ignition in the ON position.
  1. NOTE: Steps 5 and 6 must be carried out within 10 seconds.

    Press and release the brake pedal 5 times.
  1. Press and release the hazard switch 2 times (on, off).
  1. Place the ignition in the OFF position.
