Removal

4-door

  1. Remove the high mounted stop lamp cover.
    1. Disconnect the high mounted stoplamp electrical connector.
    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Remove the high mounted stoplamp.
  1. NOTE: If required.


    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Remove the high mounted stoplamp lens.
  1. NOTE: If required.

    Remove the high mounted stop lamp bulbs.

5-door


  1. Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the spoiler.
    • Remove the screws.
    • Disconnect the high mounted stoplamp electrical connector.
    • Disconnect the washer hose.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Remove the nuts and position aside the remote brake fluid reservoir.
    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm) Remove the strut and spring assembly upper mount nuts.
    Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
