Initialization

WARNING:
Before beginning any service procedure in this
section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal
injury.

WARNING:
Keep objects and body parts clear of the glass panel
when carrying out the initialization procedure. During the
initialization procedure, the glass panel closes with high force and
cannot detect objects in its path. Failure to follow this instruction
may result in serious personal injury.
NOTE:
Make sure that the window runs are correctly installed and free of foreign material.
Start the engine.

Press and hold the window control switch until the door window is fully open.

Release the window control switch.

NOTE:
All of the remaining steps must be carried out within 30 seconds from start to finish.
Lift and hold the window control switch until the door window stalls in the fully closed position for 2 seconds.

Release the window control switch.

Press and hold the window control switch until the door window stalls in the fully open position for 2 seconds.

Release the window control switch.

Lift and hold the window control switch until the door window stalls in the fully closed position for 2 seconds.

Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch down and one-touch up features.
Removal
Driver's door
Remove the front door trim panel.

Remove the rear door trim panel.
Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
Release the retaining clips and remove the interior rear door handle...
Inspection
Check the body to the hood dimensions.
Refer to: Body and Frame (501-26 Body Repairs - Vehicle Specific Information and Tolerance Checks, Description and Operation).
Adjustment
Right/Left and Fore/Aft
Loosen the nuts to permit movement of the hood...

NOTICE:
Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect
performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners
may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if
replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser
quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.
