Removal
NOTE:

Remove the liftgate trim panel.
Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the liftgate latch.

Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connector.

Remove the retainers and the liftgate latch.
Torque:
89 lb.in (10 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
