Removal
Vehicles built prior to 2018

Remove the HVAC module.

Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
Vehicles built in 2018 and newer
-
Remove the driver knee airbag.
Refer to: Driver Knee Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

only new fasteners with the same part number as the original. Torque
values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of
