Ford Fiesta: Climate Control System - General Information / In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor. Removal and Installation

Removal

Vehicles built prior to 2018

  1. Remove the HVAC module.
    Refer to: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control Module (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.

Vehicles built in 2018 and newer

  1. Remove the driver knee airbag.
    Refer to: Driver Knee Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
