Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the instrument panel center upper trim panel.
   Refer to: Instrument Panel Center Upper Trim Panel (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
   

1. 
   Remove the screws and the FDIM .
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     Torque: 14 lb.in (1.6 Nm)

1. 
   Remove the screws and separate the APIM from the FDIM .
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     Torque: 9 lb.in (1 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
