Ford Fiesta: Clutch - 6-Speed Manual Transmission – B6 / Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the transmission.
    Refer to: Transmission (308-03B Manual Transmission - 6-Speed Manual Transmission – B6, Removal).
  1. Loosen each bolt 2 turns at a time until all bolts are removed.

Installation

  1. NOTE: Universal clutch alignment tool.

    Install the clutch disc on the pressure plate and install a clutch alignment tool in the clutch disc.
  1. Tighten each bolt 2 turns at a time.
    Install the clutch pressure plate and the clutch disc assembly, align the clutch disc and tighten the bolts.
    Torque: 21 lb.ft (29 Nm)
  1. Install the transmission.
    Refer to: Transmission (308-03B Manual Transmission - 6-Speed Manual Transmission – B6, Installation).
  1. After completing the repairs, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure using a diagnostic scan tool.

    Remove the battery tray.
