Ford Fiesta: Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC / SYNC Module [APIM]. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Upload the APIM configuration to the scan tool by following the scan tool on-screen instructions.
  1. Release the retainers and remove the bracket.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and the APIM .
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
      Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. If installing a new APIM , program the APIM .
