Activation
-
NOTE:
The message center displays the engine oil change due message.
Place the ignition ON. Do not start the engine. For
vehicles with push-button start, press and hold the start button for two
seconds without pressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine.

Press the accelerator pedal to the floor while pressing the brake pedal.

Keep the pedals fully pressed.

After three seconds, a message confirming that the reset is in progress is displayed.
-
After 25 seconds, the message center displays a message confirming that the reset is complete.
-
Release the accelerator and brake pedals.
-
The message confirming that the reset is complete is no longer displayed.
-
Ignition OFF.

NOTICE:
If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
Master Cylinder
NOTE:
When a new brake master cylinder has been installed, it
should be primed to prevent air from entering the system.
NOTE:
Make sure the area around the master cylinder cap is clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.
