Ford Fiesta: Instrument Panel and Console / Floor Console. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Vehicles with manual transmission

1. Remove the gearshift lever boot.
   Refer to: Gearshift Lever Boot (308-06 Manual Transmission External Controls - 5-Speed Manual Transmission – B5/IB5/6-Speed Manual Transmission – B6, Removal and Installation).
   

Vehicles with automatic transmission

1. Remove the selector lever finish panel.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Release the clips and remove the instrument panel lower trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

All vehicles

1. On both sides.
   
   1. Remove the screw.
      
   2. Release the clips and remove the floor console side trim panel.
      

If equipped

1. NOTE: Automatic transmission shown, manual transmission similar.

   Release the clips and remove the floor console upper trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
   

Console without armrest

1. Remove the screws and the floor console. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
   Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Console with armrest

1. Remove the screws, the bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the floor console.
   Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
