WARNING:
Before beginning any service procedure in this
manual, refer to health and safety warnings in section 100-00 General

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

NOTICE:
Make sure that no load is placed on the brake hose.
Remove the brake hose bracket bolt.
Torque:
97 lb.in (11 Nm)

Remove the bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
Torque:
26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

NOTICE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
NOTE:
Note the position of the components before removal.
Remove the brake pads.

Retract the brake caliper piston into the brake caliper bore.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
-
Depress the brake pedal, check the brake fluid level in
the brake fluid reservoir and top up as necessary with brake fluid.
